There are not many times in life when one can start completely anew. When everything that you used to be no longer binds you. When you are given a carte blanche and a pen, and you get one more chance to write the story of your life just as you want it to be.
I am grateful that I now find myself in such a situation. Having finished my undergrad, I am now at the doors of graduate school, in a different field than what I studied, at a different school, in a different state. While it is true that the experiences I have gained shaped me into the person I am now, and that the true friendships I made will not be forgotten, there comes a time when it's best to start over, and for me, that time is now.
I expect this road to be hard, and I expect having to work harder than ever before, but I know, that in the end, the rewards will have made it worthwhile.
